Matcha Milk Mochi
An easy and quick sweet treat that satisfies your cravings for something silky & chewy! Forget the days of pounding sticky rice for hours to achieve a mochi-like texture - this is the shortcut you’ve been looking for!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk 
- 2 tbsp tapioca starch (do not substitute this - it is the main ingredient!) 
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (or sweetener of choice) 
- Matcha powder for dusting 
Tools:
- Small pot 
- Silicone spatula 
Instructions:
- Mix milk, tapioca starch, and sugar together 
- Cook mixture on medium heat while stirring constantly 
- As mixture bubbles, lower heat to medium-low so to not burn (if it starts turning brown, turn heat down even more) 
- Stir until it becomes a mochi-like consistency and remove from heat 
- Dust matcha powder across the top and add desired toppings (e.g., strawberries, granola, coconut jellies, etc.)
