Oreo Mooncakes
The easiest variation of “mooncakes” you’ll ever make! With just two ingredients, this can be a fun dessert for your next Mid-Autumn Festival party!
Instructions:
Separate Oreo cookies from the cream
Crush cookies (by color) in food processor
Move crushed cookies into separate bowls by color and add milk by tablespoons until it forms a sticky, doughy consistency
Put on food-safe gloves (or the next part will stick everywhere!)
Take about 1 tablespoon of the Original Oreo dough, flatten on your palm
Add 1 teaspoon of cream filling onto the middle of what’s on your palm
Top off with 1 tablespoon of the Golden Oreo dough, flatten to cover the filling
Roll the entire thing into a circle and mold it with mooncake mold
Place Oreo mooncakes on parchment paper and refrigerate if not serving immediately
